Easter Egg Texture Craft

Macaroni Made

You and your Macaroni Kiddo will have fun decorating these eggs that can be used in frames as Easter decoration or given to the tots in your life for some textured fun.  Either way, this is an easy craft to do with all ages.

Items needed:

Egg Template (the size and shape you want cut out of cardboard or poster board)

Textured items such as feathers, glitter, pom poms, pipe cleaners, buttons, etc.

Glue of some sort

Felt, Construction Paper, or Card Stock

Scissors

Fun Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt

Macaroni Holidays

Plastic Easter Eggs ( The larger ones are easier to fill)
Glow in the dark bracelets
Candy or surprises

HOW TO:

Fill the plastic Easter eggs with candy, crack the glow bracelets and place inside.
Either hide them outside for a fun outdoor Egg Hunt or around the house with the lights low.

We chose to do the hunt outside and the girls went crazy looking for all the eggs. They thought it was so much cooler than a regular egg hunt. I have to admit I loved ...

When you make them, just cut a small rectangle out of the top of the Twinkie about a third of the way back from the "front" of the car & then ...

New Ideas for Filling Your Child's Easter Basket

Jellybeans, sugar-coated marshmallow bunnies and chicks, cream filled chocolate eggs, life-size chocolate bunnies...and all that shiny, stringy "grass" kind of gives me the sickies! Sure, those are the "traditional" basket stuffers, but why not start a new tradition? Here are some alternative and healthier ideas for filling your child's Easter baskets!

For your littlest ones:
Ages Newborn-2 - Line the basket with a small tag-style blanket or other blanket. Buy a yard of fabric in an Easter print and just serge the edges! Fold it up to fit inside ...
