Save The Date... And The Costumes!

Trade in last year's costumes for different ones

I realize it feels like summer just got here, but it goes by fast! Before we know it kids are in school and fall is in full swing. With that in mind, we wanted to make sure you got this date on your Calendar!
Macaroni Kid Kitsap is hosting a National Costume Swap Day event - the first of it's kind locally - in an effort to make Halloween more affordable and eco-friendly.
Family-friendly website Macaroni Kid Kitsap is partnering with local business The Clothes Line Children’s Boutique to bring a Costume Swap Day event to our area!
A costume swap is recycling at its most fun. Kids get new-to-them costumes, and parents get to save money and the planet.  Through the efforts of a grassroots, non-profit known as Green Halloween®, families in the area are being invited to take a greener approach to Halloween. With a Central-Kitsap swap location, costume drop-off and swapping are sure to be convenient for Kitsap County parents.
Watch for details in future Macaroni Kid Kitsap e-newsletters regarding drop off dates and times for your gently worn, clean costumes with all their accessories. Sizes range from birth to teen 14-16.
As an added bonus, we're working hard to pull together Swag Bags for the first 100 swappers on October 13 that will include coupons, flyers, favors, and goodies from a variety of local businesses as well as two national companies - Zevia and PopChips!

Can we still participate if we have no costume to contribute?
