Welcome to Silverwood School, where learning is an adventure that happens in the classroom, on our 18 acre wooded campus, and on numerous field trips and nature explorations.
Silverwood School was founded in 1984 and has been preparing students in first through sixth grade to become confident, compassionate, and academically successful leaders for almost 30 years.
The academic program at Silverwood is interdisciplinary, hands-on, and dynamic. The learning environment is safe and respectful. Our low student/teacher ratio makes authentic connection between learner and teacher a normal daily occurrence.
Here at Silverwood, caring teachers and staff, in close communication and partnership with parents, are aware of and involved in the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students
Please take a few moments to explore our website at www.silverwoodschool.org, and then stop by the Silverwood campus to see for yourself how the Silverwood way of education looks and feels.
Here are some important points about our philosophy and program that will help you decide whether Silverwood School is right for your child:
ACADEMICS – Small classes and low student-teacher ratio allow Silverwood School to provide a strong academic curriculum reinforced by individualized attention.
CHARACTER – Students learn generosity of spirit, respect and resiliency, integrity and kindness of spirit through the promotion of these values in every class and every program.
COMMUNITY – Students practice the values taught at Silverwood through our Character Development and Citizenship curriculum, school family program, and by learning to treat one another with respect so each student develops a sense of belonging, self-worth, and self advocacy.
Have your say
