Uncle Milton sent us some National Geographic puzzles to check out this week. They're perfect for a sunny afternoon out on the deck with a tall glass of lemonade, or a rainy afternoon at the kitchen table with a cup of hot cocoa (we'll try that later)!
Uncle Milton and National Geographic's Explorer Academy line of toys for outdoor play brought the zoo and aquarium to us with their amazing puzzles featuring all sorts of exotic animals like ring-tailed lemurs, tigers, sharks, gorillas, and more! The shark and zebra puzzles have a foil hue to them, which makes them that much more stunning to look at and work with.
We also had the pleasure to work with a uniquely designed puzzle that's 3-in-1. Three separate puzzles with different sized pieces that fit together in one panoramic shot. In our case, we had a 24-piece puzzle for 'baby macaroni', a 48-piece puzzle for 'sister macaroni' and a 100-piece puzzle for 'mama macaroni'! We each worked on our puzzle that was within our abilities and then put them all together. Fun! And what a great gift!
Uncle Milton has a National Geographic Explorer’s Academy website at www.natgeoacademy.com which includes ideas for outdoor explorations, educational materials from National Geographic, and more information on the Outdoor Explorer line of toys. You can also find these toys at Amazon.com, Toys ‘R Us, Barnes and Noble, and many other retailers.
