   Moose Threads began in 2006 when owner and crochet-aficionado Kristin Gumpert turned to her crochet hobby as a way to deal with her son’s “wacky growth spurts.” As a person who likes to “color outside the lines,” she soon ditched conventional patterns in favor of her own free-form creations.
   She’s so talented, she can make almost anything presented to her, from Angry Birds to Transformers to adorable owls and submarines. And much, much more.
   All designs are 100 percent her own and can be customized to anyone’s specifications. Looking for a skull and cross bones? No problem. Maybe you’d like a design that’s a little less rock star and a lot sweeter? You got it!
For those desiring machine washable items, she uses only the softest acrylic or wool blend yarns. If you prefer natural, hand-wash wool, she can easily accommodate you.
   Her appliqué creations range from hairclips, beanie-style hats, scarves, drawstring skirts, jumpers, sweaters and blankets.

Clips are covered with heat-sealed ribbon which is adhered to the clip with
non-toxic glue.
Each grouping includes clips that can be worn on the right or left side of the head.
Ribbon and appliqués have also been hand-stitched to the clip using clear thread to provide added stability
