Annie - A Splendid Show!
Macaroni Kid Kitsap were guests of Bainbridge Performing Arts last weekend for their Saturday matinee of Annie. What a terrific show! The children, adult, and canine actors and singers did an outstanding job of delivering a top-notch performance to a sold out crowd.
The musical followed the rags-to-riches story of the world’s best-loved orphan as she escapes a life in the orphanage, meets President Roosevelt and finds a new home with billionaire Oliver Warbucks. Annie, an orphan, and her dog Sandy are placed in the lap of luxury for a week as part of a publicity campaign for Oliver Warbucks. However, Annie’s stay turned out to be much more than anyone had bargained for as she worked her way into everyone’s hearts and learned a few things for herself.
