Our ballet brings this beloved fairy tale to life through a magical combination of dance, music, and theatrical storytelling. Set in a picturesque kingdom, the story begins with the enchanting princess, Snow White (Jacqueline Payne) who is adored for her beauty and kind heart. However, her life takes a dark turn when her wicked stepmother, the Evil Queen (Mary Branigan), becomes consumed by jealousy and insecurity. The Evil Queen consults her magical mirror (Clara Miner), which reveals that Snow White has surpassed her in beauty. Determined to eliminate her rival, the Queen commands her huntress to take Snow White into the forest and ensure she never returns.
In a mine far away, seven loveable dwarfs are hard at work gathering jewels, including a brilliant diamond (Macy Paine). While in the depths of the enchanted forest, Snow White is led by the Forest Fairy (Natalie Peerson) to an adorable little cottage which is the home of the seven dwarfs. Each dwarf has a distinct personality, providing both comic relief and heartfelt camaraderie as they welcome Snow White into their home. Together, they form a bond filled with laughter, support, and friendship. However, the Queen will stop at nothing to reclaim her title as the fairest in the land.
Disguised as an old woman, the Queen attempts to deceive Snow White through a cunning trick involving a poisoned apple. This encounter brings tension and danger as the dwarfs strive to protect her. As the story unfolds, Snow White succumbs to the Queen’s deadly apple, falling into a deep, enchanted sleep that can only be broken by true love's kiss. The narrative reaches a climax when a dashing prince (Conrad Berg), who has heard of Snow White's beauty, arrives. Overcoming the enchantment, he awakens Snow White with his kiss, leading to a joyous reunion.
The ballet culminates in a triumphant celebration of love and fidelity, as good ultimately prevails over evil. The wicked Queen faces her downfall, ensuring Snow White and her prince can live happily ever after. With stunning costume designs, expressive dances, and emotive musical scores, "Snow White" will capture your heart, conveying timeless messages about love, friendship, and the enduring power of goodness.
