Fun Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt
Macaroni Holidays
By: Kiley Sheppard, Colorado Springs MacKid Editor & Publisher
WHAT YOU NEED:
Plastic Easter Eggs ( The larger ones are easier to fill)
Glow in the dark bracelets
Candy or surprises
HOW TO:
Fill the plastic Easter eggs with candy, crack the glow bracelets and place inside.
Either hide them outside for a fun outdoor Egg Hunt or around the house with the lights low.
We chose to do the hunt outside and the girls went crazy looking for all the eggs. They thought it was so much cooler than a regular egg hunt. I have to admit I loved it myself.

Love this idea! I am going to do this for Easter since it is my daughter's birthday and she loves those bracelets. It will be a nice treat for her and helps combine birthday and Easter.

Our friends, who we had a late Easter dinner with, did this. It was so fun we hid the eggs again. Plus, the glowing eggs around the yard, on the hill in trees, etc. made for an interesting night scape.

Richard, thanks for telling us what a success it was! The weather certainly cooperated for this kind of activity this year. :)
Have your say
