This recipe uses only three ingredients and will be ready to eat in 15 minutes or less. Use up some of those Easter jellybeans or M&M's and celebrate the return of all those birds that traveled south for the winter at the same time!
Bird Nest Eggs
-
2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
-
1 1/2 cups of twigs (use All-Bran cereal, crunchy chow mein noodles, or shredded coconut)
-
Leftover Easter jellybeans (can also substitute peanut M&Ms or any other oval candy)
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in a glass bowl. Stir in whatever you're using for twigs. Drop by the spoonful onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Quickly add jellybeans so they stick to the melted chocolate. Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes, or till set. Present them to people and watch them disappear!
