Port Orchard Police Chief Matt Brown and SKHS ROTC Master Chief Harold Vickers and Kitsap County Sheriff John Gese will read books and your child can take copies of books home with them!
Celebrate in the parking lot together with
South Kitsap NJROTC’s Color Guard and Senior Chief Vickers, Port Orchard Police Department’s Chief Brown,
South Kitsap Fire and Rescue’s Chief Faucett with a firetruck, and the Navy Band Northwest’s Brass Quintet!
Bethany will gift each family with a flag and the pair of books so you can follow along together with our guest readers,
Olympic Educational Service District 114's Early Learning Department supplies the bubbles!
Bring your own lawn chairs and picnic blankets
Come early to play on the playground

Wrap it up with a great patriotic concert.
Donations: accepting toiletries, blankets and socks for Port Orchard Police Officers to share with people in need.

The story time happens in the parking lot, and families can either sit in their vehicles or their own lawn chairs or picnic blanket, making it very accessible. Books are read through a speaker system and each family is given to the two books that will be read aloud.
