Neurodiverse Connections is debuting the “Kids Break Zone” at the Grand Old 4th this year, to give children who are feeling sensory overwhelm a chance to reset. We will have noise-canceling headphones, hammock swings, sensory regulating tools, and more for anyone who could use a little break from all the excitement.
Open from 9 a.m. to late afternoon. It is not a drop-off program or day care option for the 4th of July. Parents or guardians are required to stay with their children. While kids relax and reset, adults can talk with and learn more from the Neurodiverse Connections team that will be staffing the booth.
