| Kitsap Regional Library - Summer Learning 2026 |
They're giving away books for keeps with Kids & Teens: Book Boost. Readers ages 0-18 can choose three free books, one per visit, to build their home libraries. They're offering guidelines, rather than regulations, for the All Ages: Read Something, Do Something Challenge. Set a goal that excites you— maybe reading 100 hours, tackling chapter books without pictures, or finishing a seven-book series. Meet your goal by August 31 to earn a Summer Learning T-shirt or pin, and entry into the end-of-summer prize drawing. |

Kids ages and their adults are invited to Bedtime Books at Bethany every Wednesday from July 8- Aug. 12 at 6:45pm. Put on your jammies and stop by! Summer Suppers from SKSD served from 5:45-6:45pm, shaded playground and playfield is open! Singing while the pair of read alouds are handed out from 6:45-7:00pm. Parking Lot Story Time, modeling read aloud strategies. 7:00-7:20pm. Book buffet follows! Each child selects a title of their choice from 6 tables laden with new books, at least 130 titles a week for little kids, middle kids, and big kids! Play a bit longer or head for home! Kids in grades 1-6 can read books of their choice this summer, and as they do they can fill out a Summer Reading Journal in English or Spanish. Return the completed journal showing you read 8 books to any Barnes & Noble store for a free, brand new book from B&N's designated summer reading list between July 1 and Aug. 31, 2026. |

Camp BOOK IT! to all families from June-August for kids ages 4-12 (PreK - 6th Grade). Parents can track and reward their kids' reading for June, July and August in the digital dashboard. When they meet their monthly reading goal, they'll receive a free one-topping Personal Pan Pizza® from Pizza Hut! They'll also share fun activities and book recommendations each week to keep the fun going throughout the summer! |
